RaajjeTV's Managing Director Ahmed Saleem has praised the courage and resilience of the station’s female employees, stating that this was the driving force of uninterrupted service for the station.

Wednesday’s operations of the station began with enthusiasm, in spite of the hefty fine levied on the channel on Tuesday and the consistent attacks on the station’s journalists.

Women’s day was marked in the channel’s morning show, as well as journalist Ahmed Azmoon’s birthday. The female employees of the station were treated to a surprise in the afternoon by their male counterparts.

Speaking in the ceremony, RTV Managing Director Ahmed Saleem, stated that 37 percent of the station’s employees were women, with women filling important positions and departments in the station.
