Two suspects have been arrested over Wednesday night’s stabbing in Fuvahmulah City.

Police said that an 18-year-old was stabbed at around 8:50pm, and that a 15-year-old and 21-year-old have been taken into police custody over the matter.

Fuvahmulah Hospital’s managing director Mohamed Faruzaad told RaajjeMV that the individual as stabbed in multiple places including his head.

Faruzaad said that he was transferred to the operation theater as they were unable to stop the bleeding.

He added that the individual’s condition is serious.
