Four individuals were injured in an accident on the Sinamalé Bridge on Monday night.

Police spokesperson said that an accident, where a motorcycle collided into another while overtaking, was reported to them at around 11pm.

While four were injured in the collision, they were taken to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment immediately.

Aasandha media official Ashiya Solih said that all four had sustained injuries to the head.

The hospital revealed that injured are three males- 50, 20 and 17 years- and a 43-year-old woman.

Details of their injuries have not been disclosed.

Police are currently investigating the accident.
