Pakistani Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has concluded his visit to the Maldives and returned to his native nation.
The Pakistani army chief arrived in the Maldives on Friday for three days at the invitation of his Maldivian counterpart, Defence Chief, Ahmed Shiyam.
Major General Shiyam had been part of the delegation that escorted Genral Bajwa to his departure at the Velanaa Intenrational Airport, along with Brigadier General Ahmed Shahid and other officers of the Maldives National Defence Force.
General Bajwa had met Foreign Minister Mohamed Asim and President Abdulla Yameen, during his three-day stay in the country, where bilateral realtions between both nations were reportedly discussed.
