Maldives inches up two rankings on FIFA global rankings

Maldives has inched up two rankings on FIFA global rankings for 2017.

Maldives at the end of 2017 is placed on the 155th position. India is the leading nation in the rankings for the Asia region, with rivals Pakistan scoring the lowest. India was placed at 105th, while Pakistan was at 201st. Afghanistan ranked 184th, Nepal at 171th and Bhutan ranked at 187th position. Bangladesh ranked 197th while Sri Lanka ranked above Pakistan.

Germany leads the rankings with 1602 points, with Brazil and Portugal ranking second and third respectively.

Top ten of the rankings remain unchanged from the previous year.
