Police have reported that five people sustained injuries in a collision between two motorcycles on Nirolhu Magu in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:55 a.m. on October 7, 2026. In a message shared with the media, police confirmed that the incident was reported to them at that time.
The five individuals injured in the accident have sustained serious injuries.
Police stated that three individuals injured in the accident initially received treatment at Hulhumale' Hospital. These three patients have since been transferred to IGMH for further medical care. Authorities further noted that efforts are currently underway to transfer the remaining two injured persons to IGMH for additional treatment.
Reports indicate that several individuals sustained serious injuries in the accident. Footage circulating from the scene shows significant amounts of blood on the ground where the victims fell.
Information has been received that the accident occurred when a motorcycle carrying three people, traveling at high speed, collided with another motorcycle. Police have confirmed these details to "RaajjeMV."
Some sources have reported that the accident occurred when the three individuals attempted to evade a police vehicle, entering a one-way street from the wrong direction.
The police are currently investigating the matter.
