President starts "Raiyyithunge Adu" series, meeting individually with citizens seeking an audience with the President

This nationwide initiative, open to all constituencies across the Maldives, has already provided numerous residents the opportunity to hold individual discussions and consultations with the President.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has launched a series of interactive sessions titled "Rayyithunge Adu", aimed at providing the public with broad access to engage directly with the President. The President's Office broadcast the inaugural episode of the series on Thursday night via social media platforms and Public Service Media (PSM), featuring highlights from the initial meetings held under this initiative.
The President's Office stated that during these meetings, the President met individually with all those who had requested appointments to date. During these sessions, he discussed their concerns and explored ways the government could facilitate assistance to meet their various needs.
Of the 93 electoral constituencies in the Maldives, this nationwide series initially opened for residents of Hulhumalé North, Hulhudhoo, Hoarafushi, and Hulhumalé Central. The second round of the series extended the opportunity to the residents of Maafannu South, Ungoofaaru, Kelaa, and Fuvahmulah South. The President's Office has now opened participation for the third round, inviting residents from the constituencies of Ihavandhoo, Naifaru, Fonadhoo, Meedhoo, Vilimalé, Machangolhi South, Maamigili, and Thinadhoo North.
On June 25, the President announced that he will soon launch a new initiative aimed at strengthening direct engagement with the public. This program is designed to provide a platform for individuals from various sectors to meet with him personally, ensuring their voices and concerns are heard directly.
