Theft has been the most frequently reported crime to the police so far this year

According to official statistics, a total of 7,349 cases were reported, encompassing a range of crimes including drug-related offenses, physical assault, domestic violence, property damage, and sexual offenses.

Statistics have revealed that theft remains the most frequently reported crime to the police so far this year.
More than 7,000 cases were reported by the end of July, including 2,054 instances of theft.
While 6,720 cases were filed by July of last year, the number of reported cases for the same period this year has increased to 7,349.
Road accidents have emerged as the second most frequently reported issue, following theft. According to statistics, a total of 1,083 accident cases were filed by the end of July.
Furthermore, authorities received 1,487 reports related to narcotics, 605 cases of lost property, 377 instances of property damage, 395 assault cases, and 197 reports of domestic violence. The records also include 152 sexual offenses, 156 cases of embezzlement, 93 robberies, 29 instances of forgery, and one case involving the issuance of a check with insufficient funds.
