Issuance of land ownership documents for Gulhifalhu commences online
The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development has enabled recipients of land plots in Gulhifalhu to obtain their official handover documents digitally via the "Hiyaavehi Portal." While the portal allows all recipients to track the current status of their plots, the Ministry clarified that only those who have already processed their land registries following the recent amendments to the Land Use Plan will be able to download the formal documentation.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development has announced that it has begun issuing land ownership documents online to recipients of plots in Gulhifalhu under the "Binveriya" housing scheme.
The Ministry has announced that individuals allocated land plots in Gulhifalhu can now obtain their official handover documents digitally through the Hiyaavehi Portal.
The Ministry stated that while recipients previously had to travel to Gulhifalhu to collect their land plot allocation documents, these can now be obtained through the online portal without visiting the site.
The Ministry of Housing has announced that individuals allocated land in Gulhifalhu can now use the portal to view the specific location and current status of their plots.
However, the Ministry of Housing has stated that this document can only be downloaded by individuals who have already received their land registries, following revisions made to the Land Use Plan. The Ministry further clarified that if an allocated plot is currently located within an active construction site, the official handover document will be issued once the ongoing work at the site is completed.
