Presidential Ribbon awarded to 20 MPS officers, seven officers receive President's Medal

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu conferred honors and medals upon 27 police officers for their dedicated service during a ceremony marking the 93rd anniversary of the Maldives Police Service. While 20 officers were awarded the Presidential Ribbon, the prestigious President’s Medal was presented to seven high-ranking officials, including three Assistant Commissioners, two Chief Superintendents, and two Superintendents of Police.

The Presidential Ribbon and the President’s Medal have been conferred upon 27 police officers in recognition of their long and loyal service to the Maldives Police Service.

The Presidential Ribbon and Medals were presented during the official ceremony held to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the Maldives Police Service. The honors were conferred upon the recipients by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Twenty officers were honored with the President’s Color this year.

In addition, the Presidential Medal was conferred upon seven officers. The recipients are Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohamed Jamsheed, Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohamed Rasheed, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Chief Superintendent of Police Ahmed Nafiz, Chief Superintendent of Police Abdulla Shatheeh, Superintendent of Police Ahmed Sami, and Superintendent of Police Mujthaba Abdulla Sattar.

Police: Only two of five containers lost from MPL barge recovered so far
