New ambassadors appointed to Qatar and UAE
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has officially appointed Adam Shareef Umar as the Ambassador to Qatar and Thariq Ibrahim as the Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. The two diplomats were presented with their letters of credence during a formal ceremony held at the President's Office on Thursday.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has on Thursday appointed new ambassadors to the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
The President has appointed Mr. Adam Shareef Umar, of Chaman, R. Fainu, as the Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the State of Qatar.
Additionally, Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim, of G. Noomaraahiyaa, has been appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the United Arab Emirates.
The President presented the letters of credence to the ambassadors during a ceremony held at the President's Office on Thursday morning.
