Legal counsel Ahmed Mauroof has stated that the current administration lacks clear policies and operates without regard for laws or regulations.
Legal counsel Mauroof made these remarks during an appearance on the "Fala Surukhee" program, where he discussed the government's recent administrative actions and employment-related measures.
Mauroof stated that the ruling party lacks a clear policy and, furthermore, currently shows no regard for laws or regulations.
He noted that as an example, despite the existence of legal frameworks governing pension contributions, WAMCO alone has failed to deposit pension funds for an extended period.
Mauroof stated that it should come as no surprise when disciplinary action is taken against individuals who violate the law to such an extent and show such blatant disregard for the rights of the citizens.
We are not truly surprised that those who violate the law to such an extent and show such blatant disregard for the rights of the people would take disciplinary action against employees.Attorney Ahmed Mauroof
Mauroof further stated that even those holding political positions within the administration do not support the current government's policies. He highlighted that this has become a significant internal issue for the government.
While the government is legally mandated to uphold the Employment Act and the Pension Act, public concern is mounting over the state's failure to comply with these statutory requirements.
