Over 500 public complaints submitted to President's Office this year, including grievances regarding housing and development!
Housing-related issues constitute the majority of complaints submitted to the President's Office, alongside numerous requests for various forms of financial assistance, employment opportunities, and concerns regarding island development. Additionally, the office has received a significant number of submissions related to the judiciary and requests for the waiving of fines.

Statistics released by the President's Office reveal that a total of 546 public complaints were submitted to the office between January 1 and May 15 of this year.
The complaints submitted to the President's Office encompass a range of significant issues across various sectors.
Information proactively disclosed by the President's Office under the Right to Information (RTI) Act reveals that housing-related issues constitute the highest volume of public submissions. Specifically, 147 complaints were filed regarding the housing sector, while 91 individuals submitted grievances seeking various forms of assistance.
Furthermore, 42 employment-related grievances and 24 complaints regarding rural infrastructure development were also received during this period.
In addition to these sectors, several matters related to the judiciary and legal affairs have also been submitted to the President's Office. These include petitions for executive clemency, complaints regarding various investigations, and issues concerning pension funds.
It is also noted that petitions have been submitted regarding concerns over loans, alongside formal complaints requesting the waiver of fines incurred due to various circumstances.
The President's Office has received 80 documents that do not fall into any specific classification. These consist of general complaints, documents submitted for the government's information, and letters of appreciation regarding ongoing state initiatives.
