Allegations have surfaced that several Fenaka employees in Thakandhoo have transferred to the Road Development Corporation (RDC) while simultaneously drawing salaries from both state-owned enterprises. Information has come to light that several employees at the Fenaka Corporation branch in HA. Thakandhoo have transferred to the Road Development Corporation (RDC) while continuing to draw salaries from both state-owned enterprises.
A reliable source has informed RaajjeMV that Fenaka Corporation’s branch in Takandhoo recruited a significant number of employees ahead of the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections, as well as the referendum held on April 4.
While numerous individuals have been employed without specific job responsibilities, five of these employees were recently transferred to the Road Development Corporation (RDC).
He alleged that although these individuals began reporting for work at the Road Development Corporation (RDC), they continued to receive salaries from both Fenaka and RDC due to a lack of shared documentation between the two entities. He further stated that as part of Fenaka's ongoing downsizing efforts, employees were offered a voluntary redundancy package including four months' salary, with the application window open from the 3rd to the 14th of this month. He noted that these specific employees have now applied for resignation under this scheme, despite already being active staff members at RDC.
Furthermore, he stated that this is a grave injustice, yet there is no institution or authority to look into the matter. He added that this situation has sparked significant public outrage.
