"Ithubaaru" Campaign: Solih arrives in Kulhuduffushi City, the fourth destination of the "City Tour"
Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in Kulhudhuffushi City as part of the "City Tour" to garner support for Meekail Ahmed Naseem's bid for the MDP Chairperson seat. Having already conducted campaign activities in Fuvahmulah, Thinadhoo, and Addu City, the former president continues to lead high-profile efforts in an election where Meekail faces off against former President Mohamed Nasheed amidst intense campaigning by senior party leadership.

Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih received a warm welcome upon his arrival in Kulhuduffushi City.
President Solih arrived in Kulhudhuffushi City on Tuesday morning.
This visit is part of the "City Tour" organized by the "Ithubaaru" campaign team to garner support for Member of Parliament for South Galolhu, Meekail Ahmed Naseem, who is contesting the MDP Chairperson election.
During these visits, he has previously traveled to Fuvahmulah City, Thinadhoo City, and Addu City. In all three cities, he and his delegation were accorded a warm welcome by the residents.
Former President Mohamed Nasheed will compete against Meekail in the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) chairperson election, scheduled for June 12, 2026. As the election gains momentum, senior party officials are traveling to various islands to conduct campaign activities.
