Eid Haveeru 1447 festivities, held to celebrate the occasion of Eid al-Adha, to continue until May 30
The "Eid Haveeru 1447" festivities have officially launched across Male', Hulhumale', and Villimale' to mark the occasion of Al-Adha Eid. Featuring participation from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), the Maldives Police Service, and 11 state-owned enterprises, the event includes military vehicle and weaponry displays, rappelling demonstrations, and a variety of interactive games and activities organized specifically for children.

To celebrate the blessings of this year's Eid al-Adha and provide families with an opportunity to gather in a festive environment, the "Eid Haveeru 1445" festivities have officially commenced across the Greater Male' region.
Coordinated by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), the "Eid Haveeru 1447" festivities feature the participation of the military, the police, and 11 state-owned enterprises. The events are scheduled to take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM each evening throughout the duration of the festival.
Eid festivities in Male' will take place over three days starting Wednesday, centered around Sultan Park and the Republic Square area, including the Martyrs' Monument and the Official Jetty. The celebrations will feature a variety of attractions, including water fountains, foam bath pools, and rappelling activities. Additionally, the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) will showcase military uniforms, operational weaponry, and various land and sea vessels, with opportunities for the public to take photographs with the displays.
Eid festivities in Hulhumale' will also take place over three days, with activities scheduled at Hulhumale' Central Park and the Hiyaa Park area in Phase 2.
Activities held at Hiyaa Park in Phase 2 include rappelling demonstrations, displays of firefighting equipment, and turntable ladder climbs.
The "Eid Haveeru" festival, scheduled to take place over four days at the Vilimale' football ground until the 30th of this month, will feature obstacle courses alongside a variety of engaging activities designed for children.
State-owned enterprises participating in this year's Eid festivities include STELCO, MWSC, WAMCO, MPL, MTCC, MACL, MIFCO, RDC, HDC, FDC, and PSM.
