A serious accident occurred on the Sinamalé Bridge on Monday morning following a collision between an MTCC taxi and a pickup truck.
According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred at approximately 10:10 a.m. on Monday. The incident took place at the highest point of the bridge as the vehicle was traveling from Velana International Airport toward Malé.
The incident occurred when a pickup truck collided with an MTCC taxi, which then veered into another vehicle. The collision resulted in extensive damage to the MTCC taxi, leaving a significant portion of the car destroyed.
No injuries have been reported so far following the incident. However, the accident has caused significant traffic congestion on the bridge.
