MTCC aims to bid for and execute international projects: Saudee
MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudee has announced that a primary objective of the company is to expand into the international arena by bidding for overseas projects. He noted that discussions are currently underway with several foreign firms and emphasized that strengthening the company’s portfolio will be instrumental in successfully securing international bids.

Ahmed Saudee, the Managing Director of MTCC, has stated that bidding for and securing international projects is a key strategic objective for the company.
Saudee made these remarks during an appearance on a channel dedicated to promoting government initiatives.
Saudee stated that MTCC has historically operated as a public company with shares available to the general public, while also undertaking numerous large-scale infrastructure development projects.
Noting that numerous foreign companies are expressing interest in collaborating with MTCC, Saudee stated that the benefits of the company’s participation in international bidding will soon become evident. He further emphasized that strengthening the company’s portfolio would enhance its ability to successfully secure such international contracts.
Saudee further revealed that discussions are underway with foreign companies interested in partnering with MTCC to execute international projects. He noted that bidding for and securing overseas contracts remains a key strategic objective for the company.
While Saudee has spoken regarding participation in international bids, residents of several islands have been expressing concern over the slow progress of projects contracted to MTCC in the Maldives. Many have voiced their grievances as various development projects initiated across different islands have come to a standstill.
