A young Nepali man has died while diving in the lagoon of Villimale'
Police reported that a man was found dead after going missing while diving in the Vilimale' lagoon on the morning of April 8, 2026. Authorities received the missing person report at approximately 6:30 a.m. and discovered the individual underwater at around 6:55 a.m. following a search operation. Although he was rushed to Vilimale' Hospital for emergency treatment, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

A young Nepali man has died while diving in the Vilimale' lagoon.
Police reported on Wednesday that they received a missing person report around 06:30 AM on April 8, 2026, regarding an individual who went diving in the Villimale' lagoon.
Following the report, a joint operation by Villimale' Police and Marine Police located the individual submerged underwater at approximately 6:55 a.m. Police stated that the person passed away while receiving treatment at Villimale' Hospital.
The victim of the incident has been identified as a 22-year-old Nepalese man.
The police are currently investigating the matter.
