Police reported on Monday that an incident was logged at approximately 11:05 a.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, involving a man who was crushed when a pickup truck fell on him. The victim was reportedly underneath the vehicle performing repairs near the Hulhumale' Cemetery at the time of the accident.
Police stated that the individual was taken to Hulhumale' Hospital, where medical staff confirmed that the person was deceased upon arrival.
Police have confirmed that the deceased in this incident is a 60-year-old Maldivian male.
