The issue of unpaid salaries at the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) came to light after details were shared on social media. Reports indicate that employees have faced salary disruptions over the past three months, while contributions to the pension fund have also remained unpaid for several months.
After reports surfaced that February salaries had still not been deposited, the payments were finally settled around March 10.
A senior official at the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO), speaking to RaajjeMV on condition of anonymity, stated that salaries for the month of March had been withheld until Thursday. While some employees received their pay on Thursday night, many others are still waiting for their salaries to be deposited.
WAMCO was unavailable for an official comment regarding this matter. The corporation has also declined to provide responses to previous inquiries concerning similar salary disputes.
