Former Vice President Faisal Naseem receives warm reception during his participation in MDP's door-to-door campaign event for South Maafannu
MDP’s mayoral candidate Adam Azim and South Maafannu Council candidate Labaan Shareef participated in a campaign event held Sunday afternoon, where they were joined by Women's Development Committee (WDC) chairperson candidate Aishath Reesha and member candidate Badhoora to engage with the public.

Former Vice President Faisal Naseem has joined Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) candidates for the Male' City Council election in a door-to-door campaign event held in the South Maafannu constituency.
The event, held on Sunday evening, was attended by the Maldivian Democratic Party’s (MDP) mayoral candidate and incumbent Mayor, Adam Azim, alongside Labaan Shareef, who is contesting for the South Maafannu constituency seat on the Male’ City Council. They were joined by Aishath Reesha, a candidate for the presidency of the Women’s Development Committee (WDC), and Badhoora, who is running for a seat on the committee. During the event, the candidates engaged directly with members of the public.

In an exclusive interview with RaajjeMV during a campaign event, former Vice President Faisal Naseem stated that given the current trajectory of President Muizzu’s administration, it is essential for the Maldivian people to grant a majority to the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) in the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections. He further highlighted the positive transformations brought to Male' City by an MDP mayor over the past two years.

In an interview with RaajjeMV, Mayor Azim stated that the ongoing campaign activities by the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) have highlighted the significant support the party enjoys among the residents of Male'. Azim noted that the public believes MDP candidates are the ones capable of bringing about the positive changes they desire, adding that citizens recognize the high quality of services currently provided by MDP-majority councils. Furthermore, Azim asserted that the development achieved by the Maldivian people to date has been a direct result of their decision to entrust the MDP with their votes.

During a campaign event held by the MDP in the North Maafannu constituency, Mayor Azim and the party's candidates met with a large number of residents to understand their concerns. The high-energy event, which received significant public support, saw a notable turnout of MDP members and supporters.
