Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) clinched their third National Volleyball Tournament title after defeating Club HDC in the final.
The match, played on Monday at the indoor court of the Youth Center, was won by DSC in straight three sets.
DSC took the first set 25-21. They continued their strong performance in the second set, securing a convincing 25-14 win. In a tightly contested third set, DSC edged out Club HDC 26-24 to seal the victory.
This marks DSC’s third National Tournament victory, solidifying their hold on the coveted trophy. The team previously secured the championship titles in both 2023 and 2024.
In addition to the National Tournament, DSC also claimed this year’s VAM Cup and the National Volleyball League titles. This marks the second time the team has secured three major trophies in a single year, having previously achieved the feat in 2010, making DSC the only team to do so twice.
Apart from DSC, the only other team to win three trophies in a year was Sports Club City in 2022.
