The Bank of Maldives (BML) has unveiled ATM centers in two more islands.
In an effort to support the island communities and the national bank’s ongoing efforts to expand its services in outlying atolls in support of island communities, BML opened the centers in Feridhoo and Bodufolhudhoo islands of Alif Alif atoll.
These centers will support individuals and businesses in depositing and transferring money on a round-the-clock basis, in addition to the general cash withdrawal service.
The center houses a state-of-the-art multi-functional ATM and the bank has been continually investing in efforts to support local communities.
BML revealed that with this investment, the total number of ATM centers in Alif Alif atoll has increased to six.
Alongside its ATM network, BML also provides banking services across the atoll through its branch in Rasdhoo, unveiled back in 2006.
BML’s CEO Mohamed Shareef expressed delight in expanding their ATM network across the atoll, and said that this has made essential banking services more readily available to the residents of Feridhoo and Bodufolhudhoo.
Adding that this investment reflects their ongoing commitment to support the communities they serve and contributing to the overall economic development of the Maldives, Shareef said that this also enhances their digital banking services much more.
BML remains committed to support individuals, businesses and communities across the nation, with a nationwide network of 39 branches across all 20 atolls, 91 self-service banking centers, 147 ATMs, agent banking services and a full suite of digital banking services.
