Maldives lost their second match to Turkmenistan in five sets, on Saturday.

Maldives has lost its second game in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship.

Maldives lost their second match to Turkmenistan in five sets, on Saturday.

Turkmenistan won the match with three sets to two.

Turkmenistan won the first set 25 – 18.

Maldives took the second set 23 – 25.

With that momentum, Maldives won the third set 21 – 25.

However, Turkmenistan amped up its game and won the fourth set 25 – 15.

After tying, Turkmenistan won the decisive fifth set 15 – 08.

Maldives lost to Kyrgyzstan in their first match on Friday. Kyrgyzstan beat Maldives in straight three sets. Kyrgyzstan won the sets with scores of 25 – 15, 25 – 13 and 25 – 16.

The winning team showed an impressive performance in the game. However, Maldives was unable to show their best performance.

Five countries are competing in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship; Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and the host country Uzbekistan.

Maldives’ third match will be played against Afghanistan on Sunday.

The fourth match will be against Uzbekistan on Tuesday.

The final match will be played on Wednesday, against Tajikistan.
