RaajjeTV will broadcast the final match of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup on Friday evening, when local side TC Sports Club will face off South Korea’s Pocheon Citizen FC.

Veligaa Hardware is the main sponsor of the final match.

The final match will begin with a pre-show and will feature in-depth match analysis and expert commentary.

RaajjeTV COO Hussain Fiyaz Moosa says the even though Veligaa Hardware is the main sponsor of this historic match, there were many other opportunities for sponsors. He added that TC’s wins so far in the Cup were nothing short of impressive and as the media partner for the club, the entire station was proud to have shared this journey with TC.

TC had reached the semis defeating all opponents at the group stage and beat Nepal’s League Champions Manang. This is the first time a local side had reached the finals in an international club tournament.

The finals will begin at 1730 hrs local time on Friday. The pre-show will begin at 1700 hrs. However, the tournament organizers report that timings were subject to change.

This is the second edition of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup. It was first held in 2015. In 2015, India’s East Bengal was defeated in the finals by Chittagong Abani.

Winners of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup will win US$ 30,000, while second placed team will win US$ 15,000. Winners of every match will receive a pay of US$ 1,000 and player of the tournament will receive a prize of US$ 500.
