Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has announced for request for proposals seeking a host property for next year’s largest destination marketing event, ‘The Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023’.

The Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023 is scheduled to begin on 07 May 2023.

This initiative by MMPRC aims to promote the destination and showcase the various unique experiences offered by the Maldives. As such, the conference aims to position the country beyond the traditional sun, sand, and sea whilst increasing awareness of the MICE and sustainable tourism segments among influencers, bloggers, and travel writers.

MMPRC stated that this event will bring together 50+ international travel writers, four celebrity speakers, 10-20 Maldivian journalists to promote and sell the Maldives effectively and efficiently in their respective markets.

The host property will be given five to eight minutes or a presentation on their property/business during the Conference, giving international exposure via minimum 50+ travel writers from across the world. They will also be included on all marketing materials of Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023 throughout the event period.

The pre-bid meeting for interested properties will be conducted at the MMPRC Office on the 4th floor of H. Zonaria building at 10:00 am on 7 December 2022.

Interested parties have till 10:00 am on 14 December, 2022, to submit bid proposals for the project to MMPRC Office on the 4th floor of  H. Zonaria building.

In addition to this, MMPRC has issued individual request for proposals to hire parties to developBranding for Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023to develop a dedicatedwebsiteand to hire a party for the pre-event photography, videography and productionpurposes.

Throughout the year’s MMPRC has been working closely with industry partners in their efforts to promote the destination globally.
