The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the state's wing overseeing the tourism sector, has hosted a pre-meeting for the 88 Maldivian businesses exhibiting in this year's ITB Berlin, a leading trade fair for the travel industry to be held in March.
The pre-meeting was headed by Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer and MMPRC's Managing Director Haris Mohamed headed the meeting.
MMPRC's Assistant Director, Reena Abdul Wahid told RaajjeMV that Maldives has a considerable amount to display at this year's exhibition, including demonstrations of Liyelaa (lacquer work) and Thaana activities.
The Exhibition will be held from 8th to 12th March, and 260 Maldivian participants will take part in the exhibition.
ITB Berlin showcases a range of travel exhibitors, with over a 180 nations last year, providing visitors with information on new products, services and facilities in the tourism industry.
