The deadline to participate in the Visit Maldives Travel Expo 2019 has been extended.
An initiative of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the expo will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia from 5 – 7 July.
MMPRC on Thursday revealed that the deadline was extended till 3pm, 17 June.
The initiative by MMPRC aims to promote the Maldives as a top destination across the globe.
MMPRC is set to host the expo in partnership with the biggest budget Airline Asia in IOI Resort City’s “Majestic IOI Mall” which is visited by about 150,000 people on a daily basis.
MMPRC stated that the expo is a great platform for those in the tourism industry to meet and exchange ideas.
Different packages will be offered at the three-day expo which is also to offer on-the-spot booking.
MMPRC further highlighted that they expect tourist arrivals from Malaysia to increase owing to the expo.
