The first batch of the ‘Manta Wings’ apprenticeship programme for 2021–2022 has been inaugurated.
Vice President Faisal Naseem inaugurated the programme’s first batch on Tuesday.
During the ceremony, letters of offer were handed over to the new apprentices in the programme organized by Manta Air.
Highlighting that Manta Air has achieved a lot over the years, VP Naseem stated that the it is important to develop human resources in the field, in a bid to cater to the growing demand at a time the global airline industry is growing.
VP Naseem went on to push industry stakeholders to put in their best efforts to uphold service standards and aim to garner skills and knowledge required to provide quality services.
The ‘Manta Wings’ apprenticeship programme targets individuals between 18 and 25 years of age and aims to cater to the human resource development needs of the aviation sector.
Apprentices will complete six months of training in their dedicated fields, under the programme.
