The South Asian Climate Outlook Forum (SASCOF) has begun their 11^th conference at Hotel Jen, in capital city Malé.

SASCOF is attended by climate experts as well representatives of the national meteorological centers of nations in the South Asian region.

The conference is also attended by representatives of the World Meteorological Organization and RIMES (Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System).

The conference will be held from 25^th to 27^th September. Participants will compile and release their ‘official consensus forecast statement’.

SASCOF has been held every year since 2010.
