Maldives reported 41 new cases of the covid-19 on Tuesday.

The new cases include, 30 Maldivians and 11 foreigners. While 35 of these cases were from the greater Male' region, and the remaining from other islands or resorts.

The 41 cases are from the 1،075 samples tested within 24 hours. This pushes the country's Covid-19 case count to 12،355.

While 63 people are receiving treatment at the hospital, 317 people are receiving treatment at isolation facilities.

With an additional 72 recoveries, the country’s total recoveries have reached 11,388.

While the current number of active cases is at 915, the death toll have risen to 45.
