MTCC begins work on sub base for football pitch in S. Feydhoo
MTCC revealed that they expect to complete the project by Jule 31

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has resumed work on the football ground sub base in Feydhoo island of Seenu atoll.
Taking to Twitter on Monday morning, MTCC wrote that the work resumed after the pitch orientation was changed upon the request of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment.
MTCC revealed that they expect to complete the project by Jule 31.
Contracted for an estimated MVR 2.65 million, the project involves the excavation of mud material from the area, transporting filling material, compaction and leveling the field to the ground.
Further, MTCC is also tasked with casting and laying a drainage gutter top as well as the casting and installation of a soak pit.
A pavement strip and kerb stone as well as a pipe will also be installed under the scope of the project.
MTCC was contracted with the preparation of the sub base for a football pitch in Feydhoo during September 2019, along with six other islands. The contract was signed by CEO of MTCC Hassan Shah and youth minister Ahmed Mahloof.
According to the contract, MTCC is required to complete the project within 60 days from the day work begins.
