The first of the team’s training matches was held at the Galolhu Stadium in Malé City on Thursday, under the guidance of coach Óscar Bruzón Barreras, a former Spanish footballer.

New Radiant has also signed on a number of younger players, most notably Ibrahim Atheeq, who showed exceptional prowess on the field as a forward during youth championship.
They have also brought in Siyam Mauroof, who competed in the championship as well, and 16-year-old Hasan Abdul Hakeem, who was given named the best goal keeper in the Soccer Cup. The team also signed on 20-year-old Abdul Ghanee, who was a midfielder with Club Eagles last season.
The club has also renewed contracts for a number of players, including ones that have been with New Radiant for a long period.
However, New Radiant has lost Montenegrin defender Steven Markovic, Lebanese defender Hussein Aldor, and Adrian Gala.
