Office Billiard Tournament
The fifth Office Billiard Tournament, organized by Maldives Pool Billiard Association, has begun.
The tournament began at 7.30pm on Monday with 13 teams.
The Association said that this tournament was the most well received tournament so far. Singles and mixed doubles teams will contest, with female players taking part in the mixed doubles section.
Villa, MPL, MWSC, President’s Office, Police Club, MNDF and MACL make up Group A, while STELCO, Maldivian, TMA, MIB, Customs and PSM made up Group B.
Billiard Association’s General Secretary General Abdullah Bishar said that it was a remarkable achievement for the tournament, as female players are contesting in the elections. Based on the experience of this tournament, Bishar said they will consider holding a special tournament for female players.
