Maldives confirms 10 new Covid-19 cases, recoveries surpass 1,200

Maldives has reported 10 new Covid-19 cases, as well as over 20 additional recoveries.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) via Twitter said that the new cases include seven Bangladeshi nationals, two Nepalese nationals and one local.

This brings the country’s total case count to 2,013.

Further, with an additional 24 patients recovering from the virus, recoveries has reached 1,217. At present, there are 786 active cases in the country.
