An additional 22 cases of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic have been confirmed in the Maldives, along with four additional recoveries.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that the new cases include nine Maldivians, 10 Bangladeshi nationals and three Indians.
With this development, the total count for Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 1,872.
There are currently 1,215 active cases in the Maldives.
Maldives has recorded 648 Covid-19 recoveries thus far and seven Covid-19 related deaths.
