There is only one Covid-19 patient currently on ventilation.
Dr. Moosa Murad revealed this at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) daily press briefing on Saturday night.
There are currently two Covid-19 treatment facilities in the country; 11th floor of Dharumavanth Hospital and the primary treatment center, Tree Top Hospital.
Noting that a total of 11 patients are admitted at Tree Top Hospital, the doctor said that three are being treated at the intensive care unit.
One of the three is currently on ventilator; two were on ventilation at the hospital previously.
Dr. Murad also stated that the patient at DH11 is there for further observation despite having tested negative for Covid-19.

1,313 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the Maldives thus far. There have been 129 recoveries and four fatalities.
