3,600 contact of Covid-19 patients have been identified thus far.
Covid-19 taskforce’s spokesperson, Mohamed Mabrook Aziz, revealed this at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC)’s daily press conference on Friday night.
Maldives has reported a total of 481 Covid-19 cases thus far. While 17 have recovered, there has been one death.
Noting that a total of 3,600 contacts have been identified thus far, Mabrook said that results of 332 samples are pending.
Further, 256 buildings are currently under monitoring.
There are 418 individuals at isolation facilities, and 1,225 at quarantine facilities established by authorities. Six Covid-19 patients are currently hospitalized.
