An additional nine people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives.

While eight of the new cases were revealed at Wednesday night's press conference at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), an additional case has been added to the Covid-19 Maldives Dashboard by the Health Ministry.

A total of 28 new cases has been reported on Wednesday, pushing the country’s total case count to 278.
