Random community-based testing
An additional 13 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives.
While this pushes the country's total to 269, all 13 cases are Maldivians.
While six of the cases, five Maldivians and one Pakistani, were reported earlier, 13 new cases were reported not long after. All 13 new cases are Maldivians.
Out of the 269 cases reported, 117 are Maldivians and the rest are foreigners including 115 Bangladeshi nationals.
17 people have recovered since the first case was reported on March 7, and there have been no deaths thus far.
