Those that are to have visited Lily Enterprises and Ihusaan Fihaara (shop) recently, have been asked to report to authorities.

Dr. Nazla Rafeeq made the appeal at Monday night’s press conference at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), as authorities conduct contact tracing after employees of these places tested positive for Covid-19.

As such, those who visited Lily Enterprises on April 13 and 14 (between 8am to 6pm) have been asked to report, as well as individuals that went to the shop between 8am to 4pm on April 15.

This is because a confirmed Covid-19 patient had been stationed at the store during these times.

Further, after two employees at Ihusaan Fihaara tested positive for the infection, those that visited its outlet in the Maafannu ward on April 15, 16 and 17 have been asked to report as well. In addition to deliveries, the two are to have been stationed at the shop as well.

Maldives has confirmed a total of 69 positive Covid-19 cases thus far, out of which 49 are from the capital. The first case from the city was reported on April 15.
