New permanent secretary appointed to Ministry of Home Affairs
The appointment was officiated by the President of the Civil Service Commission Ali Shameem
The appointment was officiated at a special ceremony held at the ministry on Thursday.
Prior to his appointment, Salah served as a Director at the Elections Commission of Maldives.

Abdul Rahman Salah has been appointed to the position of Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The appointment was officiated by the President of the Civil Service Commission Ali Shameem at a special ceremony held at the ministry on Thursday.

Minister of Home Affairs, Sheikh Imran Abdulla was also in attendance.

Prior to his appointment, Salah served as a Director at the Elections Commission of Maldives.

The previous permanent secretary, Ibrahim Hameed, resigned in October 2019.
