A man has been arrested for causing intentional damage to the Vice-President's car.
Authorities revealed that they received a report of a man under the influence of substances causing intentional damage to vehicles nearby Hilaaleege - the vice-president's official residence.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the wiper and license plate of the vice-president's car destroyed.
A 20-year old Maldivian man has been arrested in connection to the incident, said authorities.
The case is undergoing further investigation.
