Ambassador of Germany to the Maldives, Jörn Rohde has paid a courtesy call to Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid.
The foreign minister held a meeting with the German ambassador on Sunday afternoon where the minister reiterated the country's appreciation to the Government of Germany for taking the initiative to establish a permanent VFS Visa Application Centre in the Maldives.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the minister and the ambassador discussed further avenues to bolster diplomatic relations between Germany and the Maldives.
The meeting was also attended by State Minister at the Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Khaleel and Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shiuneen Rasheed.
