Customs win Executive Futsal Challenge
This was the first edition of the Executive Futsal Challenge
The one-day Executive Futsal Challenge was held by HR Maldives
Maldives Customs Service are the champions of the first edition of the Executive Futsal Challenge.
The tournament, held between government offices, ended on Saturday, and team Customs took on the Auditor General’s Office team in the finals.
The final match headed to penalties as neither team were able to score during the game, and Customs won the match with 3-2 score.
Customs traveled to the finals after beating Ministry of Health with a 2-1 score in the semi-finals.
Fair play team of the tournament was awarded to Ministry of Health.
A total of 11 government institutions took part in the one-day tournament organized by HR Maldives, which aims to strengthen relations between the institutions and employees.
The 11 teams that took part in the first edition of the Executive Futsal Challenge are; Maldives Customs Services, Auditor General’s Office, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Maldives Police Service, Maldives National Defence Force, Maldives Corrections Services, Maldivian, Housing Development Corporation, Ministry of Finance and the State Trading Organization.
