Three Maldivians have been arrested in Sri Lanka, with narcotics.
RaajjeMV understands that they were arrested on Monday night, in a special operation conducted by Sri Lankan authorities in Dehiwala.
They are among the six arrested in the raid carried out by the Police Narcotics Bureau, and are to have been caught with 4 kgs of heroin worth over Rs. 40 million.
Some Sri Lankan media outlets report that two cars were seized following the arrests.
The suspects are aged between 26 and 28.
RaajjeMV was unable to obtain an official comment from local authorities regarding the arrests at the time of publishing.
