AFC Cup Preliminaries: Maziya draws with Abhani

Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has drawn with Abhani Dhaka in their match in the ongoing AFC Cup preliminaries.
The match ended with a score of 2 – 2 on Wednesday.
During Wednesday’s match, Maziya took the lead at the 42nd minute of the game, the goal was scored by Cornelius Steward.
However, Abhani was quick to catch up with the first goal from one of the team’s defenders.
The second goal for Maziya was also scored by Stewart, at the 65th minute.
Abhani’s Chizoba scored the tying goal 15 minutes later.
During the AFC Cup Group Stage in 2017, Maziya beat Abhani 2 – 0.
The second leg has been scheduled for 12 February in Maldives. If Maziya wins the match, the team will head to playoffs. Maziya will win the group stages if it wins the playoffs and it will be in Group E along with TC Sports Club, India’s Chennaiyin FC and Bangladesh’s Bashundhara Kings.
Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has been preparing for the AFC tournament, with a strong squad.
