Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has on Saturday gifted computer systems to the Ministry of Education.

During a special ceremony held at the ministry building on Saturday, the 10 computer systems were received by Minister of State for Education, Ahmed Riyaz.

The systems were gifted under MWSC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project and aims to encourage the incumbent government’s vision to provide facilities to schools across the entire Maldives equally.

Taking to Twitter after receiving the systems, the ministry expressed gratitude and wished the company well.

While the new academic year is set to begin on 12 January, the ministry revealed their decision to gift the systems to schools across the Maldives.
