A 29-year-old has been stabbed in Maafannu-ward of capital city Malé.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that officers noticed a “dispute” between a group of individuals on Hilaalee Magu through CCTV footage on Friday evening.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a 29-year-old, stabbed in the ribs.
The incident was reported at around 04:42pm.
The man was rushed to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment, immediately, revealed police.
MPS has since launched further investigations into the stabbing.
